Thanks for stopping in!
I started working with my dad when I was nine. By working I mean I went every available moment outside of school or sports. It’s some of my VERY BEST memories in life and I truly miss getting to work with him! By my senior year in college I was working 30-40 hours a week with youth, taking 18 credit hours and had 35 full time painters. I didn’t sleep much for many, many years! As a side note… I’ve shot a longbow a few times but I’ll let you go down that rabbit hole on your own YouTube search. During those years I specialized in stripping whole houses down to the bare wood in order to repaint them, high end residential repaints, commercial painting and did thousands of apartments! Plus I personally handled Sherwin Williams product failures… like the time I had to hand sand and repaint right at 200 commercial metal door frames that had $20,000/roll silk wallpaper hung beside them. All the apartment painting led to learning several different trades… couldn’t paint until the finish carpentry was done, couldn’t do the finish carpentry until the sheetrock was done, couldn’t do the sheetrock until the framing, electrical and plumbing was repaired. So I literally learned it all in reverse. But the ingrained perfectionism in my DNA was not compatible with apartment grade work… I wanted to do it RIGHT!
I was approached and asked to help in an upstart nutraceutical company so I stepped away from construction life for a few years, trading my work boots and pants for Lucchese boots and Italian suits. After seeing the company reach annual sales of over $30 million I sold out my share and returned to my roots: I’m the fourth generation of family run businesses that worked with their hands. In good Southern English: “I just ain’t cut out for corporate life!” Of all the things Jesus could have chosen to do… Jesus was a carpenter! Now I’m NOT Jesus, I’m just a sinner saved by His grace!
As a contractor that does HIGH END as perfectly as it can humanly be done, I’m busier than a three legged cat trying to cover up crap on a marble floor! I work on your project like I’d work on my Mama and Dad’s house! I have NEVER had a punch list from a client after I said I was finished, so you don’t have to baby sit or worry if it’s “getting done”. When someone tells me I’m too expensive I believe them… I’m too expensive for THEM! They are looking for value and I offer QUALITY!
Not to worry… if you have a water, fire, tree, storm emergency I’ll be there even if it’s the middle of the night to secure and protect your property! I have a very small crew and, like me growing up, all my kids work along side me when not in school. I will not bring anyone to your home that I wouldn’t have over for supper at my house!
I’m often asked… “Exactly what all can you do?” If its at your home, I can do it on a master craftsman level. So if you want a QUALITY project call USA PROS LLC!
I APPRECIATE you reading all this which means you are either REALLY bored and have no life or you actually need some work done!
I’ll wrap all this up with just a couple more things of what to expect: I ONLY work for nice people! If you are grumpy, I will pack my stuff and leave! Every day there’s someone that’s been waiting over a year to see my work van pull into their driveway!
A few weeks out from arriving at your project I get 100% of the estimated labor and 100% of the estimated materials. I like to order all the materials and have them ready to go. If anything unexpected is found we will immediately stop and discuss the best plan of action and any additional cost which would then be paid before we proceeded.
Nearly every project I do tends to “grow”… folks have been waiting over a year for me to get there and decide to add a bathroom, front porch rails or a million other add ons. So once I get to your project, I’ll be there working Monday-Thursday. We work hard and are proud to give our crew Fridays off to spend with their families. The only time I’ll leave is if I have a family event or a client has a water, fire, or storm emergency. I always shut down the week of Christmas and Thanksgiving as well as other major holidays.
Thank you for your time! I look forward to working with you and creating a QUALITY project that you and your family can enjoy for generations!!!
